I am reminded each time I take a long period of time off work that I am not stay at home mom material. I want to stay in my pj's all day. Do nothing or go out and spend money. Neither are a good option for each day. I do wish I could be home when the kids get out of school. Some sort of adjusted day. Instead of 8:30-5, maybe 6:30-3.
That would live plenty of time for homework, errands, etc and time to relax in the evenings. I might actually cook dinner every night. There would be so much time to prepare a meal. I say that anyway...

I work from 8-3 and it's still tough to get dinner on the table every night!
I'm home all day every day and I still don't always get dinner on the table. Of course I'm all day every day with two kids underfoot, so it's not like my day is relaxing! lol I figure this stay at home mom thing will be a great job once both kids are in school! lol only erm, 3 years to go....
