mas

Stuff going on everywhere. K is into a new novela that just started. It is called, La Fea Más Bella. B is at soccer (always!).

Work has been going great. I sat in on my first interview today. Really interesting. I totally understand now what they mean by first impression.

We have Nan's IM now, so hopefully even with the time change, we might be able to see her online. We will be able to catch up on the day to day stuff.

My friend's daughter will be graduating from high school and she will be going into the Navy. Scary (in more ways than one!), we will miss her. My friend asked if I would be able to say something at her good-bye party without crying. NO WAY! I have known her more than 7 years. I saw her grow up.

We walked 9 miles this last weekend. Both Julie and I were tired ALL weekend. The miles will decrease soon before the marathon. The marathon is the day after Eric's b-day. I will be gone most of his birthday (we head up the day before to check in and get our rooms). Then Diego's birthday is a few days after that. We still have to plan something!

Hey, Andrea I am missing your postings. Get busy! ha ha

Eran

This is a picture of our old dog Eran. She was about 16 when she died a few years ago. This pic cracks us up because she was always lifting her head, checking everything out, to make sure she wasn't missing out on anything (probably food). She was a great dog!

Mia

This is my kitty. Surprisingly enough, she lives at our neighbors house. She has a room of her own there. Weird, I know!

It is a street cover. How cool is that?

What a face!

Geez, maybe we should have gotten her something else to eat. Silly girl, those tortas were really good!

Yummy

Home again

We are back. Enjoyed four days in Mexico! Nothing like sitting by the pool drinking while the kids swim! I will post some photos later. Really it was fun. We stayed at Newport Beach Hotel Monday night and Wednesday night. Tuesday night we stayed at Estero Beach Hotel.

Well, Estero really let me down. I called ahead to make SURE the swim up pool bar was open. But NO! The bar guy was out sick. What is that about? They don't have someone to replace the people who call in sick. Bastards.

The Newport Hotel bar was closed (but we knew that), you can still order, it just takes longer. (Frankly I don't want to HAVE to wait for my drink) but it was open today, on Thursday. There is no winning! Still, all in all, it was a good vacation. The kids enjoyed and we accomplished what we set out to do.

Pics to follow!

Check for a few pics!

Check out Siobhan playing in the rain!

Right before my eyes

I swear the kids are growing up right before my eyes. I think Siobhan grew about 2 feet these last two weeks. Diego is talking so much better then he was even three weeks ago. What is going on? Why do they grow up so quickly? Slow down little ones, there is no hurry!

It makes me so glad that I never thought "I can't wait until they...". I could always wait.

My babies are growing up before my eyes. Stay little a while longer. please?

You HAVE to check this out!

This guy had one red paperclip and decided he was going to trade it up until he gets a house. Seriously, you won't believe where he is already. This is not a joke. Man, I have plenty of red paper clips at work. How come I can't think of something like that?

New blog

psssst...check my links, I added my cousin, Mexipinogurl's blog. Check her out!

hmm

Remember when Saturday meant early morning cartoons? Eating cereal in front of the tv? As you got older, in meant sleeping in? Well, not for me! Today I woke at 5:45am ( I was having a sweet dream where Eric and I were trying to find some good shrimp too) and headed out for my weekend training. I drove out to Laguna Hills and decided if it was raining there too, I was out for the day.

Of course it wasn't raining and I made it there 10 minutes late and just in time for everyone to take off. We did EIGHT miles today. I actually came home, ran a bath of cold water and sat in it for as long as I could stand it. Supposedly it helps heal your muscles so you won't be as sore. Tomorrow will tell!

I found out I won't be sharing a room with my friend Julie from work when we go to the marathon. Oh well, I am sure whoever it is will be nice ( I hope!)

Today we are doing a little of this and a little of that. We are on vacation next week. Called Diego's Nino to see if he could stay with the dogs. Today we have to get K a bathing suit top and some sunglasses. This month has been very expensive for me (Bradley's soccer weekend in LANCASTER, as I am sure you remember) and a deal I couldn't pass up on diapers on Amazon.com.

We are all off this month and aching to go somewhere. Eric really wanted to GO somewhere but the farthest we will get is Mexico. We still have to get the little one's passports. It will be nice, three or four days of beach, lobster and relaxing. I could use but I really think Eric can the most. He has been working a lot lately.

I hope everyone has a wonderful Easter. I have to go buy eggs (sorry babe) for the kids to decorate. Actually I think it is the one time Eric doesn't completely hate me for bringing eggs into the house. It isn't MY fault he grew up on an egg ranch. haha

get me a fan!

It is freakin hot here. The last two nights I have almost put the ac on so we could sleep. It is currently 60 at 6:47am, doesn't feel like it. I think they are wrong. We are expecting thundershowers today. It probably won't even rain a drop. I hope it does of course, but as you know I have NO faith in the weathermen!

sorry Bush lovers...but it's true

A man died and went to heaven. As he stood in front of St. Peter at the
Pearly Gates, he saw a huge wall of clocks behind him.
He asked, "What are all those clocks?"

St. Peter answered, "Those are Lie-Clocks. Everyone on Earth has a
Lie-Clock. Every time you lie the hands on your clock will move."

"Oh," said the man, "Whose clock is that?"

"That's Mother Teresa's. The hands have never moved, indicating that
she never told a lie."

"Incredible," said the man. "And whose clock is that one?"

St. Peter responded, "That's Abraham Lincoln's clock. The hands have
moved twice, telling us that Abe told only two lies in his entire life."

"Where's Bush's clock?" asked the man.
"Bush's clock is in Jesus' office. He's using it as a ceiling fan.

I think they lie

People say "It gets easier", "It gets better with time". When?

It hasn't gotten any easier or any better! In fact, maybe it is harder.

My thoughts still are of my Dad. In fact, I think it is harder because I feel like it is supposed to be easier. Well, it isn't. I think they lie.

We decided to let Krystal date as long as she only goes out with this guy. He looks innocent enough. Don't you think?

Can someone rub my feet?

We had our mock "half-marathon" today. It was cool, they had us put fake chips on our shoes, we had a bib with our number and they had people cheering along the way. They timed us and had snacks and stuff afterwards. Pretty cool.

Eric and I were talking last night. You can go to the Home Depot parking lot and pick a guy up who will work on your yard, or whatever you need done. How come there aren't any women in front of, say...um, Target that you can pick up that will come clean your house. How cool would that be?

Hey, I will pay you $8 an hour to clean my house. Oh yea! I mean, yeah, my kids are free but how good of a job do they do. Of course I could clean it myself, do any of you know me? I just thought it was odd no one has thought of it yet! (This could be the start of something here!)

This is the first time

Last night I was thinking of how Bradley has practice in Orange today. He will finish about 6:30. I thought "Oh, I can go see my Dad". Oh my gosh, I started crying right away. I can't ever see him again.

Man, how depressing.

I really miss you Daddy!

behind

Wow, where have I been? Well, let me tell you.

Last weekend we went to Ensenada for a family friends birthday party. It was great! We have never stayed in town before. Eric was watching the UCLA game and Siobhan, Krystal, Diego and I went shopping. Of course we ran into all sorts of people we knew because so many of our family members were there.

I just got back from a soccer weekend in Lancaster. A place I have never been. It wasn't too bad. A couple of hours away. Bradley had one game on Sat. (10:30am), so we were able to enjoy the rest of the day, but we were in Lancaster. So I let Siobhan go in the jacuzzi for a little bit (it was freezing there!) and we watched the UCLA game. (Is there a trend here? Maybe one of the Jasso's needs to be in a hotel room for UCLA to win? Better get a room for Monday!). Bradley had two games today (8 and 2), of course with the time change, 8 seemed really early since he was supposed to be there at 7.

All in all, I enjoyed myself. I took Siobhan with me. Krystal and Diego stayed home with Dad. I have never spent a night away from Diego before. It was nice to just spoil Siobhan for a while and to actually TALK to Bradley. I missed my husband though.

Now, the two young one's are fighting. gotta run!
