Last weekend, we met at my house and left about 9:45am. Out on the road. The road that seemingly never ends. We stopped at Del Taco for breakfast when we all started feeling the hunger. I was amazing Julie could drive and eat a big ass breakfast burrito. (I am in awe still). Natalie was chatting in the back about how she needed to call her friend who lives in Vegas when we reach state line. "You better call him now", I told her.
We found the hotel quickly. It was nice. There was bit of a line to check in. The second we walked in I realized I had TOTALLY forgotten what it was like to be where people are allowed to smoke inside. It has been ten years since people where allowed to smoke inside here. Ick!
We upgraded our room for a mere $10 more. It was nice! Big! We relaxed, unpacked and watched as Julie pulled out her home bar. This girl knows how to travel!
We went out and enjoyed the day. We got some drinks, spent a few dollars and got something to eat. In the Paris Hotel I was amazed at how they made the ceiling look like sky. Not cheesy but really look like sky. Then we headed back to our hotel to relax and prepare for the night!
Beth (the birthday girl) and her friend Annie met us at the room about 7. We enjoyed some good drinks (via Julie!). We walked over to the restaurant, Diablo’s Cantina. Perfect choice! The music was loud and great. Our booth was in the perfect location and the drinks and food were great. We stayed there a couple of hours and then headed out to the strip. We walked around, went here and there. We ended up at this place that had Mini Britney . I won't comment on that, I have included the link for you to judge for yourself.
Tired and with hurting feet we headed back to the room. Beth and Annie said goodbye and I was in my pj's when Julie said "I am heading downstairs for something to eat, what do you want?". It was 1:30 AM. I don't know why I was so surprised. Eric and I lose all track of time when we are on vacation too.
The next morning we woke and headed over to Beth's house. She lives here in OC but bought a house there. She goes whenever she can. It was really cute. I wished we could have stayed longer. It was nice to just hang out. We went out to eat and headed home.
I got car sick on the way home. It was really windy. I asked Julie if I could drive and you probably couldn't shut me up after I started to feel better. It was great. It was fun to get away with the girls. I said we should do it again sometime just because. I hope we do.

Sounds like fun, except the puking part. Glad you had such a great time.I showed Marty your picture with the drinks because I was so impressed by the sheer size of them.
