my project. Started yesterday. Not sure how it is going to go but it has begun. I need something else too. Something outside.
My project is something my husband has always told me I should do. Something I have always wanted to do and I think something most people say they would like to do.
First I need a new chair. My computer chair is on it's last leg. ha ha It was so comfortable but Diego keeps tearing off pieces of the bottom. I need one that has a lower foot step too. My legs are at an unsafe angel. Not good for blood circulation. So, it is on the computer obviously.
Guess and I will tell but will it actually go anywhere? Who knows

Potstickers--
-1 pack of wonton wrappers
-1 pack of ground pork
-1/2 a large head of napa cabbage chopped
-1/3-1/2 cup of chopped onions
-a quarter sized piece of ginger, chopped up or grated
-1 tbs soy sauce
-1-2 tsp rice vinager
-1-2 tsp brown sugar
-1 tsp minced garlic
mix all of that together--mashing the pork alot is fine.
I did groups of 12--filled the cutting board, plus the pan. Lay out the wrappers, place a spoonful on each one, wet the edges then bring together and crimp.
Heat enough oil to cover the bottom of a pan (1-2 tsp). Place the potstickers flat side down. Cook for 3-4 mins. Add 1/4-1/3 cup of hot water to pan and cover. Cook for 7-8 minutes. Then I turned em to brown on the sides more so they are more like gyoza, but they are cooked through at this point.
I kind of made that up, so you can more veggies, or change the seasonings to suite you :-)
Well, it's not writing a blog, that is for sure(since you already do that). Hmm, maybe you are writing a book??
